As you probably know, Typhoon Ondoy hit some parts of the Philippines just last Saturday which is equivalent to 30 or 40 days of rain. Many people lost their homes and loved ones in the typhoon. Due to this, many people throughout the week are taking part to help others~ It's my first time to see the nation this united~ If you're willing to help the victims, click here:

Here's an excerpt from the blog

The project came to be because I was feeling like I wasn't doing a very good job at helping out with the survivors of Typhoon Ondoy. I was mostly helping online by informing and updating, creating awareness through Facebook status messages and blog posting albeit some time donating and volunteering for the Ateneo Task Force Ondoy and Ondoy Relief Collection Aid.

I knew I could do something more and it was going to be through doing what I love doing. I voiced this out to Elbert Or and he said that he was thinking the same thing so we came up with this project. We both love art and believe that it's a powerful tool to communicate, educate and initiate. Brainstorming and planning were done over a 10-minute walk and a 20-minute drive and thus, START HERE was born.

There's another typhoon coming up this weekend and it will hit northern Luzon. Its tail will most probably hit us here in Manila but i hope it won't be that bad. Many are still trying to recover from the previous typhoon. Let's just pray that everything will be alright. Hopefully, it won't affect other countries as well.}
